of women and girls in IT

girl's day

An event that introduces high school girls to IT and the possibilities of studying, working and doing business in this sector. It is part of the global celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in IT, which was launched in 2011 by the International Telecommunication Union of the United Nations. In 2023, the European Union also joined the initiative.

In Slovakia, it has been organised by Aj Ty v IT since 2014. Since that year, 10,440 girls have participated in Girl’s Day.
